Okay we are so back and picking up where we left off, going to get 400 pages in this weekend

Had to buy the book and put the audiobook in pause because I knew it was getting good

There’s so many twists and divergences that I’m losing the plot but not in a bad way ???

Unfortunately not as exciting as we started

I’m having a great time but it’s not exactly like The Never King series which I’m not mad at

I fear I’m not into it

What’s more terrifying…. The clown or their lives. An abusive partner, a wife just like your mother, an alcoholic puppet, and a mourning brother like….. also, hated reading from an abusive, psychotic man’s perspective. I felt disgusted.

This series is addictive and fast paced, loving it.

She sounds old and rich at the same time as poor and rural???? Idk how I feel about this voice in my head

It only took me two years to pick up the book in my room lol reading this for Yasmin before dark academia season

God almighty the language is enough to clutch my pearls.

I’m still confused on how this gets all the hype.

I’m shocked by how good the writing is.

This feels slightly different than the skyland series but tbh I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop and idk if it’s bc I’ve been reading thrillers and westerns for a while but it’s a lot to go from that to this romance and I’m adjusting. — still a great story though!

I’ve got 20% left of this book and I’ve never wanted to drag something out so bad in my life. I don’t even know how to suggest this to someone. If you wanted me to define a “story” this would be the final boss of all stories. What an ambitious, nerve wracking, and immersive novel.
