I'm not a fantasy reader at all but the occult/religious aspect of the book gives me easy entry into the story and I'm intrigued and enjoying it so far. Honestly, I would have given up on other fantasies at this point

Jasmine is 38% done with Landline

Listening to this on audiobook and I think this might be the best way for me to consume contemporary literature like this in the future.

I enjoyed "Attachments" last year and knew that a Rainbow Rowell book wouldn't be a heavy read so decided to start this one because it was available through Libby.

I'm really interested to find out what this landline past universe thing is all about. I'm enjoying it so far.

Jasmine is 12% done with The Nickel Boys

I have wanted to read a Colson Whitehead book for a while. I started and DNF'd "The Underground Railroad" several times but after hearing the synopsis of this book and the early reviews, I decided to give this one a try.

I just got off the waiting list for the ebook at my library today and started reading immediately and so far this writing style is a lot more appealing to me.
