So far an excellent book.

Many refreshing surprises so far. I'm only up to 1923, but already have gained new insight based on the collection of primary source docs.

Aside from the sections on Asia, which contain numerous errors, Weinberg has done an excellent job in collecting his previous works on the conflict and placing them in context. A good overall view of the war. Weinberg makes some global connections that allow the cause and effect of many events in the war to be seen in totality.
