This book is to sales what the Richest Man in Babylon is to personal finance. If you like one, you'd like the other.

Sometimes I wonder whether I am reading too much between the lines that what I perceive to be there isn't actually there. Let's see.

A little heavy on the philosophy and a little too light on the science but inspiring nonetheless. His thoughts on the challenges of self-renewal remind me of what Geoff Colvin talks about as the ingredients of talent in his book Talent is Overrated.

Great book so far even if written for educators and curriculum designers. Lots of notable aha moments - e.g. That kids don't immediately understand that the final number they say when they count objects in a set equals the number of objects in that set!

Really enjoying this book so far. Incredible how much can be gained from the simple act of reading with kids. Encouraging that raising smart kids isn't rocket science :)

Anthology of articles and interviews, any of which move slowly and are repetitive. of course, this book is of tremendous value to those wanting to do a deeper study of Reggio Emilia philosophy. I was looking more for a quick lay of the land. This was a hard one to start with. Switched to Visible Learners instead.
