I’ve apparently read this before? No memory of it.

New Year's Resolution: Next year I will add my audible books as I read them instead of adding 100 on January 1 so I can see an accurate number of books I read.

Third story is obnoxious again.

There's something grating about the beginning of this book but it seems to be improving

It's the annual re-read. Still great.

I'm struggling with this book right now

Listening to this on audiobook and the main character drives me bonkers with his overuse and abuse of metaphors.

To be honest I have no clue how/when this ended up on my to be read list. I've been going through and requesting books off the list from the library and got this one. At first I thought it was the wrong book but nope it isn't. It's good so far but I am still quite confused as to how it came to my attention.

Sometimes you read a book knowing it will be diffuse & creepy, but usually those are scary books not romances. This is an interesting dilemma reading-wise, especially as a sibling it seems so unfathomable.

The first CD may be too scratched to listen to this. Both tracks 9 & 10 are unlistenable to. :(

Just got this on audiobook and even though I used the goodreads app I did not realize it was part of a series. Ugh. Let's see how this goes.

There are things books due to manipulate your emotional heartstrings that just piss me off so much because they're unnecessary and cruel to the reader. Can I DNF a book with 4 pages left?

Listening to the audiobook. Grabbed randomly at library before realizing who the author was. Nice to see her do non BSC things.

Listening tot his on audiobook and I'm not sure about the narration. The voice actress seems to be affecting almost a slight lisp and one character has an Irish accent without any explanation.

A friend loaned this to me. Very little has happened in 174 pages and I feel like I could skip whole passages (like the current section where they are eating and smelling things. This is not the first section of this unnecessary descriptive passages as they eat)

I'm not sure why I always want to request creepy religious cult books but I do.

The whole premise of Alex signing him up for school without any parent or background is really really really bugging me. You can't just walk in off the street and sign up for high school can you?

I'm really loving the illustrations. Do all versions of this book have them or am I just lucky with my quick-grab at the library?

I'm re-reading this as well. I've always said I prefer Lirael to Sabriel and that it is one of my favorite books. Both points are still proving to be true. So much fun to be visiting the Old Kingdom again. Getting ready for the next book!

I'm a little skeptical that she thought telling her parents was a good idea. What teen really does that?

So everyone loves this but it's doing absolutely nothing for me. Like yeah they're having sex but the instalove is too strong for me to cope with.

Sooooo I accidentally picked up the second in this series on audiobook without reading the first at the library. However, I immediately liked the narrator & they seemed to give some backstory so I guess I'm listening to it anyways. Anyone who's read it, is this a terrible idea? Already 3 CDs in.

After a great beginning it's dragging a bit in the middle.

So far this one has started really quickly and nicely and I'm chugging through it quickly (which makes me happy. This is the second galley in a row that I actively want to read).
