Struggling a little for two reasons - weeks/months have passed and no one explained how ghosts can be captured and exactly what bad things are done to them. And secondly, Aurie is powering up as a super ghost for no good reason. Why? And if she's powerful shouldn't they be teaching her to protect herself? Too much focus on the characters - I need more world rules.. Will give it another 40 pages...

Grrr - two rules broken. Giving the four males multiple names (for the love of God why???) and having h stumble around because she doesn't know the rules like the H's - this is getting frustrating

Oh - and if you are going to feature a mouthy, sarcastic heroine - then you have to make everything out of her mouth both amusing and witty - so far not so much

I was on board with this book - the heroine's a bit of a ditherer, but it was progressing well - and then the love triangle hit. WTH? Talk about distracting and stupid. Am not sure if I can struggle through the banality of this addition. Why? Why?

My stomach churns every time the H refers to the h as Baby. Ick, she's not a helpless infant. This endearment is not sexy - it's revolting. Close to giving up on this

Stop start, stop start. Why is there an empty line after every paragraph and after every time someone someone speaks? This is seriously annoying.

70% - slogging forward, kind of hating the author right not. Snarky Cal 100% of the time is way too much snark - all the witticisms are lost

50% way through - trudging fwd. Repetitive, irrelevant chapters... OMG, what has happened to this author.

Cute read so far - but boy did the H & h move fast from meeting to sex. Enough to make your head spin

Struggling on. Harper has made all these incredible/unexplainable leaps in her powers and understanding, almost feel like I have missed a book. Main character remains bland, no reason given why she must solve murders/meet up with vampires - story often makes no sense. Battling onwards

Am not happy. This reads more like YA heroine. Major plot problems and keeping getting bogged down. Unlikeable childish selfish heroine is making this one hard to root for.

Come to a full stop at the moment - actively hating characters/plot. Trying to find will to persevere.

25% in and this is proving a tough read. A petulant TSTL h and an annoying/inconsistent H. Don't know how much more I can stand of this unfunny/grind
