I finished it, but only because I had nothing else to read. Sea witches. Treasure. Ugh-a romance. Irritating names- seriously- Haven? My eyes rolled back in my head every time I read her name. And Holmes? Oh ya, very authentic

This book is written for clever young girls living in New York City who want to read about all the clever places they shop, eat, live, work, walk, etc. Yes it has a sad story about a young woman with cancer, but ultimately it’s about the clever girl at the centre, being more clever than her friends

I’m never going to finish this book

What an unbelievable life! Oh the name dropping! Yikes! Not in a rude way-she’s just LIVED lifetimes! She seems to be a kind, caring person, who loves her children and is very loyal. Her life wasn’t ruined by drugs and alcohol, but she definitely saw the damage it did to others. She’s bounced back from bad business decisions made by others so many times! And she can still like Sonny, but man was he an asshole.

Some books really deserve re-reading. What a wonderful story!

DNF. I liked what I read, but I need photos or maps to appreciate a travel book.
