Decided to finally give this one a go. Only learned it existed when I got the newest Langdon book in September. Love the setting.

First audiobook of the year. Good! I read the first Rebus book, some interviews and then skipped to this one as it was the first one available as audiobook. Really liking as audiobook fresh back from a very short jaunt to Edinburgh over the holiday break

Was excited to buy a signed copy in London. So far so good. Wanting more of the travel writer parts!!

Never read anything in this series and saw this book at a resell shop for $1 so got it and am enjoying as a light holiday read with London trip vibes

Listening to this audiobook as I do errands and snow shovel and such. Feel good holiday vibes and great for my London trip prep!

My library had both the audio and ebook of this one, so it’s going fast. Love the main character. Was rec this series and will also rec to others

Started this last night and looks great!

Listening as an audiobook for potential for my travel writing class. The author’s voice is kinda annoying but he is humorous and likable in spite of himself. I feel like he’d know what I was talking about with this comment. Never heard of him before but so far am enjoying these essays

Learned more about oysters than I ever cared to know and find it fascinating. Love his writing!!

Had to skip some more because I didn’t care. Thought about just quitting this one but there are really interesting parts woven in. People who love Outlander (the show) would likely love this audiobook! Ive not been able to find a liking for show or book, despite seeming to be something I would like to

Reading this as an audiobook. The first bits were for fans of the show/actors… but there’s some good history told in an interesting way too

Now this one turned a very intriguing corner and I’m so glad the NYT rec book 2 in this series this month, which is why I’m reading book one!

This one is pretty good but is at the point where something’s gotta happen to move us forward and out of this plot point. I’m getting weary

Forcing myself because I just plopped down $30 for this thing.
I read around all genres. I love art. I love Paris. I love books with museums.
But this is just sooooooo boring.
I cannot for the life of me figure out WHY/how this is the Barnes & Noble book of the year.

This is kinda slow going. So far I like the idea more than the story or characters. It is Barnes and Nobles book of the year and really starts art/ art history and Paris museums. Got for my travel class. Think there’s a great assignment here
