Every time I read the phrase “baby doll” I die a little inside. Cause it’s the fucking worst.

I hate Trevor. So far he has no redeemable qualities. If I didn't love the first book so much I'd have burnt this in a feminist bon-fire by now. This book is so far garbage and I'm hoping Trevor has some redeemable quality.

I honestly am not seeing how people like this book more than the first. I really dislike Trevor. This quote best sums it up "“He didn't like the idea of anyone taking advantage of Zoe, well, besides him of course". Wow. He won't stick up for her when his friends call her fat, and he is only starts noticing her curves when she loses 30 lbs. how anyone could like Trevor better than Jason... I don't get it!?

I'm bored. And disappointed about it.

My biggest issue with this book: PAUL. He's really creeping me out. I don't like how he refers to Julia as a rabbit in reference and to her face. Also, after the slightest sign of affection he tries tell her to shut up when she was in the debate during Gabriel's lecture? It seemed too primitive a response. Overall, he really creeps me out.

I already have issues with the author using the word retarded in the dialogue. Being that the book was written in 2014 there is no fucking excuse why she couldn't have used another more thought provoking, non-offending word.....

I can't help taking long breaks in between chapters. This book is amazing, but it still effs with my mind! I'm still waiting to find out why it's okay for me to love David's character.

Sigh, why do seemingly intelligent writers have to include words like "retarded" into their literature. It's lazy authoring and extremely offensive.... Shame on you Ward.....

I am giving up. This book doesn't do much for me. After reading more reviews I realize this isn't going to go much further. Good while it lasted.
