62% in and I just can’t seem to really care what happens. I’m not sure why. It’s well written, Imogen is amusing and just kickass enough to back up her mouth, and there’s plenty of quirky characters. But for some reason, I’m just not driven to pick it up and finish the story

The first 2 books Legacy are kill on sight, but the SG subdues a group of criminal Legacy and they just imprison them?? How did Connor get away? And Garett and Levy get together, he ghosts her for a week+, but when he shows up at his own convenience it’s all kissy face and no interrogation? Yes, he had huge problems at work, a simple text saying so takes 5 seconds. tbh, the more I read the more I’m #TeamConnor

Had to put this down for a bit. Piper has a lot of quit in her, hardly a whisper of the fighter we saw in #1. Also, seems like cheating when the supervillain has tech/ magic no one knows exists. Like, I can be unstoppable too if I can pull whatever I want out of my ass. Just frustrated with Piper’s stupidity and worthlessness, and the forced hopelessness

This book received great reviews, even from others who love the same books I do. But I'm just so bored with this one :/ It's well written, has great back-ground, but I just never got into the story and now that I'm 75% done, I just can't get motivated enough to finish. Sad face :(
