Baby listen. The Danger men have me in a chokehold

This Gary character is creeping me out. And Donna is working my nerves as well.

I'm not feeling it. I'm not sure what it is, but this one isn't hooking me, and it's probably going to the DNF pile.

I'm not going to make it to the end of this. I was hanging on cause one of the characters has my name, but that's no longer enough. I don't enjoy books written in this manner. Something happened in the past, and now they're teasing it out. I'm almost halfway through, and I still don't know WHAT happened. I like to know what the story is about before all the background and flashbacks and build up.

Jade is getting on my nerves with all these personal questions. And the narrator's male voice impersonation is awful. I may have to finish this as an ebook rather than an audiobook. We shall see.

The description said "laugh out loud funny" and I haven't even cracked a smile yet. 27% in and this is very heavy and not at all what I was looking for in a read. I'm pretty sure it's going in the DNF pile.

This might go in my dnf pile. The female lead is not likable to me. I was almost done when she said she was competitive and didn't want to learn to cook because her bestfriend is so great at it if she couldn't be better than her then what's the point. She's extremely annoying to me and I don't read to be this annoyed.

I'm so annoyed by this book and this totally unnecessary drama. I do not like Amara at all cause all of this is definitely her fault. I'm tempted not to finish, but I really want to see Eros happy. 🤬

I'm having a rough time staying engaged cause I'm not really a fan of forbidden romance, and this one right here is pretty foul. Midas knows he's dead ass wrong. I'm a try again this weekend, but I may have to add it to my DNF list.

I'm seriously considering not finishing this book. I love a good romance novel that has an actual storyline, but this seems way too drawn out. Can we please get on with it? Cause I'm losing interest fast. It seems too long. 6-7 hours would have been more than enough to wrap this up. 11 hours seems a bit torturous.

I hate this book and I've never said that about a book before. I want to stop reading but at this point I need to know how it ends and what all of this was for. Cause honey it is terrible.

I just finished Cross Fire (Alex Cross Book 17). Man that was a good one and a very quick read!!
