I checked out a bunch of really heady nonfiction for paternity leave, and while it started out okay, I’ve found I no longer have the capacity for the intricacies of the Roman republic or the history of epidemiology in the 20th century. I’m thinking the story of prog might be more my current, sleep-deprived speed.

33 hours for the audiobook. I guess I’ll have to listen Non-Stop.

This is probably the best biography I've read since the Charles Schulz and Peanuts book. I'm trying to remember the last book I've had this much fun reading.

The Star Wars book wound up being boring whenever it focused on new characters. Which was like 90 percent of the time. So I'm back to working through all of the shiny new Agatha Christie books the library got until I start binging on Graham Greene in a week or two for my book discussion of The Power and the Glory.

I haven't read a Star Wars novel in a long time, but I've bought into the "Journey to the Force Awakens" hype. This will probably end poorly...
