These women are some of the most unlikable and Baby Reindeer-level unsympathetic (but in a frustrating and non-compelling way) that I’ve read in a good while. Coupled with an equally frustrating “tune in next time” story-telling structure, this book has been primarily annoying, though I hoped for a twist. Maybe the last 20 pages tie it all up well, but not counting on it.

Slow starter but both of these ladies are a tad cray cray.

Every chapter is doubled since I keep zoning out but there is some good stuff here. It’s all a personal attack, but good stuff.

Different messages, genre styles, and time periods, but feels like a better version of N.K. Jemisin’s “City We Became.”
