I'm enjoying the pacing. It's not slow and boring.

I have no idea if the main character was in a previous series, maybe something I don't know about?

There is no introduction to who the character is. Just goes on saying she's a spy and a dead ex-boyfriend and that she's hiding or on the run.

But I have no clue what the author is talking about, as there is no explanation or intro.
