“Nothing to say?” Her expression is triumphant. “No witty remarks on that sharp tongue of yours?”

“You seemed to like my tongue just fine when we were sealing our bargain”

I love their banter 😂

Loving this so far!

Only 8% in and already bored. I can already tell I’m going to hate this book lol. It feels EXACTLY like her other book the knight and the moth which I hated 😂

Loving this so far. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I haven’t really read something like this, but I’m really liking it!

This started off pretty good, but then started draggingggg

And it felt like a lot of the same conversations over and over. Poppy and Casteel would fight about something dumb, then they’d hook up, Poppy saying “ im gonna stab you” like 10 times and pretend they don’t like each other again, and then repeat

This started off a little rocky for me and I almost gave up on it, but I’m so glad I didn’t! It starts off in the middle of a scene, but then it really caught my attention! I’m loving violet so far 🤩

I think I’m giving up on this book. The beginning had potential! But it is so redundant and repetitive and I really don’t enjoy the characters, I don’t get the appeal of this one 🤣
