GIRL THAT PLOT TWIST?!?!

This plot twist is bloody ridiculous - not in a good way.

I had just thrown the book at the wall

Also if I see another “misread him again” I will throw this book at the wall

“Will he act professionally if I tell him I have never stopped loving him?” HE IS YOUR FRIEND WHY WOULD HE ACT “PROFESSIONALLY” 😭 The English in this book will be the death of me

Too early to share my thoughts but my early verdict is this book sucks bcs:
a) more telling than showing
b) super whiny female character
c) one-dimensional side character that serves no purpose other than to advise the female lead
d) repetitive writing
e) very still, boring dialogues (literally no one speaks like that in real life

It just hurts to read about the writer’s perception about her own body… but then it is also how I feel about mine most of the time. How can I be so unkind towards the one body that God gave me?

30% into this book and I have no friggin’ clue what Zahra’s job is other than being annoyingly unprofessional.

This book is ridiculous and the writing is ridiculous but the chapters are short and I am in need of that.

So far I am LOVING the writing

There's just something so racist about how the Malays are portrayed in this book.
