This is a really good read. Not through any fault of the author or book, it's taken a long time to get through it.

Sometimes charming but overall a slog -- author insert repeatedly forms a crush on the nearest mansplainer, is repeatedly disillusioned, and repeatedly learns nothing of his own nature or anything else.

So far an even mix mild insight, repetitive similes, touches of humor, and rank arrogance on the part of the author 🤷🏼 so...idk ... similar to Sunday school just funnier

Picked this up from a library display and I don't even care that it's the third in a trilogy, it's too delightful and I'm having way too much fun to be bummed out.

This book is a SCREAM of a ride!!! What will happen with the stalker???

... it's a no for me right now. I've really liked Roach's books in the past but this one is tonally different enough (or who knows? maybe it's because the sun is in taurus and the moon's in scorpio?) that I can't get into it.
