This a memoir of Tarana prior to creating the Me Too movement and what led her to create it. It’s raw, and hard, and devastating at times, but also full of resilience, and love, and community building.
I highly recommend listening to it instead of reading it! It’s read by Tarana and it truly brings the stories to life. It’s also does justice to AAVE, which my Spanish-as-a-first-language-brain would have not.
