Did.Not.See.That.Coming.

Ok, I'm all in!

Still at point four. I put it down for a number of months because it absolutely blew my mind. It is no exaggeration to say that it has changed my view of the world.

This is more academic than my usual non fiction choices.It's going to take me a while but I'm pretty sure that it's worth the effort.

Any other book would have been finished long ago but, as with all Fredrik Backman's books, I can't bear for it to end.

Science, myth busting and delicious recipes.... What's not to like??

This is weird.

I am loving this. I hope the rest of the book is as good as the book within the book.

Thoroughly enjoying this. So much so, that when, I checked my progress to find that I was only a quarter of the way though, I was delighted that it would last longer.

I've read a couple of great books about sobriety and this is definitely going to be added to that list. It is Neither self pitying or not dramatic in tone but instead, a very healthy matter of fact read. Really has my attention.

Maybe I'm relating a bit too much to some of this book because I'm finding it quite sad at times. Don't be taken in by the feel good blurb.

I feel like I'm late to the party on this one. A few chapters in and I'm already hooked.

This is a book that I've been reading, slowly, over the course of three weeks. Normally, I read quite quickly but with this book I'm taking my time in order to ensure that I don't miss any of his points or insights. It is very well laid out and the language is really accessible.

Really enjoying this. Written in a very entertaining and engaging style. I'm finding his not too sugar coated yet, not overly critical perfect in its ability to intrigue me without offending my sense of identity as an person. Illustrating some of his ideas I think (imagine a self depreciating emoji at the end of that sentence)

Revisiting my youth. Slightly apprehensive but I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm trying to slow down because I'm enjoying this so much. I really don't want to go through the grieving process that will inevitably happen at the end.

Can't be bothered to finish it. Just hasn't caught my imagination
