Enjoying this so far. Interesting characters and not too many to confuse me like in most crime fiction! Wish it was a paperback so I could finish it on the plane next week!

I'm almost halfway through and still waiting for something to happen... Is this worth finishing? I know it's won the Miles Franklin but surely that is only because of the poetic way it is written, which is lovely, but doesn't really make for a late night page turner. Good to send me to sleep...
