So far, no good. Kind of boring. The best part is the dog. I’ll power through because I’m nearly done but this wasn’t what I hoped. The narrator isn’t terribly good, especially with the dust wife. I was told this was sweet and endearing like The House in the Cerulean Sea but it’s not; not even close. I’m very disappointed.

You can add the host to the other books that I listed is this reminding me of. It’s like the author took all of my favorite books put her own excellent little spin on it and then made this.

Filled with such real raw emotions that it was a little hard to read at times.

Reminds me of Stranger Things, Miracle, Paul

It wasn’t until near the end of chapter 3 that I finally understood the title 😀. I am really enjoying this book so far. The author make the development of the periodic table so accessible.

Interesting premise but the audiobook is off to a rough start. The whole courtroom drama was overdone, we get it, men are misogynistic.

The first chapter is off to a bad start. The dialogue sounds like something out of a badly overacted movie. I hope this gets better.

Great book, incredible detail.

Meandering and pretty boring so far.

Finally a real antagonistic shows up. Maybe this will start getting more exciting.

20% into this book and so far it’s very slow and plodding. I’m loosing interest. Hopefully it will get a little better soon or this may end up on my DNF shelf.
