Why does this low key give me She’s All That and Fast and Furious vibes?

This is rough. I feel like I’ve read this before…. 🤦‍♀️ We didn’t need another Hunger Games, Alex.

I love the way Schwab tells a story over many lifetimes. I loved the story of Addie LaRue and now I also love the stories of Sabine, Charlotte, and Alice. Chefs kiss! Another amazing one!!

Rachel clearly has daddy issues. I find her obnoxious and manipulative….

I think this is a love it or hate it kind of book. I’m loving it! Albeit, the fmc is annoying at times and very naive, I think that’s all part of the time period. I feel most young women were back then. (Not annoying, but naive lol) The mmc is….interesting for lack of a better word. At times I’m put off by him, and others I’m like ohhhkaaay 😍

Hooked so far! I love her writing style!

I want to love this book. I think the storyline is so good, but these characters might be too immature for me. I find myself cringing every couple of paragraphs and putting the book down. I’ll pick it up again in hopes it gets better. No luck so far. I’m hoping once the storyline picks up, it will get easier to read 🤞🏼

Okay, in the first book, didnt Jack have brown eyes? Now all of a sudden his eyes are blue??
