Today my partner read our 5 month old nephew excerpts from this book. He started to cry very shortly. Which is also how I feel about this book 200 pages in. It is so effing repetitive 😭

Everytime I give an old white man author a chance I end up reading a book where women don't speak, they only giggle and men get all sad that they have to beat their mistress for 15 pages. This is swill and only 119 pages thank god bc I'm incapable of bailing on books.
