Amanda Lynn is 67% done with Raising Good Humans: A Mindful Guide to Breaking the Cycle of Reactive Parenting and Raising Kind, Confident Kids
I have this book on audible, but true to my nature, I wish I had a physical copy. Some of her ideas seem spot on, but a lot seems repetitive (the meditation could have been addressed with another similar meditation)….but maybe that is just me trying to “rush through life” as she says we all struggle with now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Amanda Lynn is starting Introverted Mom: Your Guide to More Calm, Less Guilt, and Quiet Joy
This explains so much! I was such an outgoing “need to be around people” person….until I had children. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I realized it is bc I would take silent breaks after interactions (such as purposely working 45 mins away so I could drive home in silence). Now, there is no break. But, this too shall pass. ❤️

Under the Whispering Door

Amanda Lynn
Amanda Lynn is on page 429 of 784 of The Passage (The Passage, #1)
The author jumps from one character to another, leaving the reader pining for more. Alas, characters and plots are beginning to merge and I am finding myself falling in love with this twisted tale.

I just can't read it. I expected to learn more about Aspergers. Instead, I am getting his life story with no reference to his Aspergers. I understand that the author was not diagnosed until much later in life, but I guess I anticipated more. I'm taking a break from this book. Not sure when/ if I will return.

Thus far, I want to scratch my eyes out, sit on hot coals, and eat cow dung before continuing on this journey this author calls a "book". Alas, I will press on. Hopefully Asher will redeem himself.
