Whats happening to maries father?? Pls someone tell me hed be okay😭😭 i like etienne, i like werner and frederik and i kinda forgot i love physics but this book talks abt i a bit so big YES. Marie is still just okay. Von rumpel reminds me of hands landa from inglourious basterds for his evil energy.

Either i want to highlight every line in the book or take picture of every page because... the writing is just so beautiful🥺.
Werner is a genius we should protect.
Still has mixed feelings on Marie-Laure’s father.
Marie-Laure is just ok so far.

I really enjoy the writing so far. Though its slow paced but really beautifully written.
I was rooting for the father so much because he’s so loving & understanding of his daughter, I thought he was so wise but as it went on i wasn’t sure anymore and then he was saying something about the war ain’t gonna happen thats when I know he’s so wrong. Marie-Laure is okay so far and i think i really like Werner.

100 pages in, the writing still so dull. I like Lale but his relationship with Gita is just?? Plain. They are like trying so hard to be romantic and everything, I chuckled during the chocolate scene lol, idk I just don’t feel the emotion of the writing. But really looking forward for the storyline.

Lale loves women so much he talks about them in every two pages. Its kinda funny the way he does it.

Just found out Gita is a pretty common name in northen europe (sc google). Though Gita here is from Slovakia which google says is in eastern europe??

I know lale is the mc on the book but i still dont know yet if actually like his characters. He only talks like he is better than anyone else.
