I’ve read many Okorafor novels, novellas and comic books and this is by far is her worst.

The only reason why I’m still reading this book is because I’m waiting on holds from the library.

I’ve read a lot of Nnexi Okorafor and this is by far her worst book.

What an unlikable protagonist… Also, the book reads as though it was a draft. Unfinished. Choppy, no flow to the words, disjointed and oddly presented timeline of events.

I really hate the way this book is written and hope it doesn’t end up on the DNF pile…

Reading this book feels like there are lines, paragraphs and pages missing. It’s hard to fall into a groove while reading because the story is so disjointed.

The premise of the book is interesting but the author just isn’t skilled enough to tell this tale. A shame.

The story I interesting but, gosh, I wish the author had a better editor. The writing is chaotic, a thesaurus was overused and holy comma splice!

Tedious. This is such a tedious read.
