George Costanza is 60% done with House of Open Wounds (The Tyrant Philosophers, #2)
It's fun, feels a bit drawn out. Needs more creatures. Also it doesn't really have a driving plot. Interesting characters to hang out with and explore.

"Mandelbrot, like Winston Churchill before him (wut), promise us not utopia but blood, sweat, toil, and tears. If he is right, almost all out statistical tools and past economic work are meaningless.

A very talky book about the rise of Abbadon and the feelings of lost and pointlessnice in the lives of the traitor legions

It really reminds me of the setting for a 90s PC RPG. Weird and dreamy

George Costanza is on page 350 of 544 of The Wizards and the Warriors (Chronicles of an Age of Darkness #1)
It's interesting. Some aspects seems like typical fantasy of the era. Others have a unique twist like how he transcribes other languages in ways that sound off and obtuse and the abruptness of characters actions which keep the plot moving. I do feel at a bit of a disconnect from the characters throughout. Excited to see how it ends and the series continues.

Interesting and almost dreamlike in the way the story is told. The names are getting confusing, I kinda want a standalone glossary for people and places
