It's fun, feels a bit drawn out. Needs more creatures. Also it doesn't really have a driving plot. Interesting characters to hang out with and explore.

It's interesting. Some aspects seems like typical fantasy of the era. Others have a unique twist like how he transcribes other languages in ways that sound off and obtuse and the abruptness of characters actions which keep the plot moving. I do feel at a bit of a disconnect from the characters throughout. Excited to see how it ends and the series continues.

Interesting and almost dreamlike in the way the story is told. The names are getting confusing, I kinda want a standalone glossary for people and places
