Listening to Kenneth Branagh narrate.

The beginning is a bit odd and the style took some getting used to, he is A BETTER actor than writer.....but then it gets suspenseful and engaging and turns into a compulsive read.

This rainy day weekend was perfect to just binge this read.

So far I am thoroughly enjoying it. The narration ia very slow. I am speeding it up by 1.5 but enjoying it more on Kindle. I also feel authors shouldn't read their own work. Just MHO

I really love this so far. Narrator is great and pace is perfect. Fast and suspenseful. Great characters

So far the best book I've read all year. It's different---told in letter format, which I actually didn't think would work, yet it is working really well, and it's done very cleverly. So far ❤️ love this

This is surprisingly good. The subject matter is not very interesting to me, actually, but it's so well written that I find it very interesting, despite the plot being nothing new

I tried this book before some time ago and couldn't get through it but am currently in a history buff style of mood and it's hitting the spot. I now find it excellent and captivating and am not currently dreading my long commute thanks to this

This book is very engaging and very well written. the Violence is off putting and rather extreme for my taste, so be warned. This book is teetering on the edge of horror for sure

my library loan expired prior to my finishing it. well that will tell you how this one is going since I had 2 weeks to read it. It's really not very good

Reading this after Trump announced this author for VP to see what we're dealing with this time around. So far it's interesting. Scary how much violence he grew up with and is comfortable with. Yikes.

so far, I am really not sure why this book has such high ratings....it's not blowing me away but I am already 75% done....

So far I am really enjoying this. the subtle and not so subtle humor, the descriptions, the humanity of all the characters. It's really good

only just started this book and half way done, yes, that is the kind of book this is, very fast and gripping. very similar in style to the author's other novel, Falling

this book is a hot mess. It is suspenseful but somewhat disjointed and hard to read. Lots and lots of characters....anyway, it is enjoyable but it's not well written or executed and not nearly as good as The Whisper Man...still better than a lot of other thrillers out there

So far this is rather informative and interesting. That doesn't sound like a great endorsement but I am not someone who keeps tabs on the royals or other celebrities. He does a good job describing his life and how the press does its best to ruin it. I am enjoying this audiobook read by author

Almost done with this one and I have to say while it is interesting, I kind of got bored early on. Then a certain event makes it interesting, and then it got boring again. the end is pretty eventful but I am honestly glad it's almost over and I can pursue something else

Not the best writing or execution with some very "writing seminar" type of expressions and a "twist" one sees coming from miles away because she constantly hints at it, I am still really enjoying the book. Despite the sensitive topic and triggers, it is an easy read, it flows very well and holds one's attention

Listening to this on audio, so far it is very good. Very long and detailed but I am in the mood for that. Someone mentioned he rehashes everything from the past 2 books. I kind of no longer am too familiar with those other books since I read them so long ago and I don't mind the repetition....you definitely do not need to re-read those to enjoy this one

This book is so good. It's genuine, brutal, raw, palpable tension throughout. A little confusing in terms of the plot and story line and structure but really addictive and unusual and very good. It does remind me a bit of the Godfather but it's really well written and just amazing thus far

I am doing this one on audio and so far, the narration and story are solid, typical fare for this author

this book is really good but I keep getting side tracked to other books. it is unusual and quirky, so I tend to like that sort of thing

this book is really not very good, however, I am in the mood for a really easy, super predictable book. I wish the writing was a little better and less clumsy though--he picked up the cup from the counter on which it stood--just one of the ugly examples

wow, this book is different. Dark and disturbing, pretty much throughout. The beginning is not at all indicative of where this goes. A lot of problematic content--torture, murder, racism, perpetuation of stereotypes. and a crap ton of toxic masculinity. Yeah

So far the best thing I have read in some time. So well written and told. Magnificent

it's ok so far. not blowing me off my chair and surrounding a topic and type of setting that has been done too many times, IMO. not really Alice Feeney like. More Ruth Wareish perhaps. But interesting enough to keep me reading
