Mini update: I’ve been so sad lately that even my books are like, ‘Girl, where you at?’ So yeah… not reading right now, just vibing with my feelings.

I swear I just want to read as many books as Julieta Venegas — you know, casually devouring literature like it’s a light snack — but my TBR is starting to look like a structural hazard. One day I’ll be effortlessly cultured and well-read like her… for now, I’m just here trying to finish one book without getting distracted by five more.

Loving the eerie atmosphere and the documentary-style storytelling — the mix makes it feel like you’re uncovering a true-crime case in real time, with all the tension and unreliable voices that come with it.

Makes me question how much of her narration is real versus distorted by her own self-mythologizing.

I don’t relate to Irina, but I do admire the chaos. She’s what happens when a woman stops performing likability.

Justin from Just for the Summer is the green flag in a sea of red ones — charming, emotionally available, and just the right amount of chaos to keep things interesting. A man who weaponizes kindness AND wears it well.
