Listening to the audio book. Trying to not have her “sweet, child-like” voice sway my opinion on what she’s writing. But so far, I’m not impressed. All I’m getting is a repackaging of purity culture with a caveat of “no judgement, this is what I chose for myself” while still feeling judgmental.

“If you insist on driving around in vintage cars with no seat belt on, try to time your crashes for the systole—blood-squeezed-out—portion of your heartbeat.” This book is full of gems and I’m thoroughly enjoying it!

So far not terribly impressed. Will probably finish it just so I can see how on earth she’s going to wrap up this mess.

Loving it so far. Great quote, “For too long there had been rumor and suspicion; it couldn’t continue. After all—now, it was bad for business.”
