Book 1 done

There were so many twists and turns in this. I was not expecting the ending.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but I loved this. There was so much growth and I need to go visit.

Reading Jake’s holds because he’s taking too long to read them out of Libby

I was not expecting that ending, but I thoroughly enjoyed the letter she received at the end of the book. Let’s go Sadie!😂

The character growth in this one was too good not to rate it 5⭐️

A very up close and personal connection to abuse. Horrified, and I hope his parents made it to prison.

I’m already worried. Rosie recommended this but this is a story on one of the worst child abuse cases in history…

I’m pretty sure this is a religious author. But this book was fun, it was a very interesting spin on how post death is seen, in addition to a murder mystery/suspense/thriller.

I’ll be honest, for the first bit I did not know what was going on in this book. But I caught on.
I couldn’t understand why so many people liked this book because I struggled with it. But the ending went on to surprise me and I enjoyed it.

The point of view for this was hard for me to like at the beginning, because it goes from sister to sister. But it gets better.
I didn’t know a book could cause me so much heartache but it did.

Honestly didn’t love this one. Kinda cringe and gross, the humor wasn’t as good.
Not my favorite.

It’s hard to give a review on books that are written by the author themself. I hate the idea of us rating based on their life experiences and the literal HORRORS she experienced.
Elizabeth goes from the perspective of her 14-year-old self, so some the writing feels ‘young’. I think she does a very good job of explaining where her thoughts were at, because I remember people thinking she had Stockholm syndrome.

This one was a fun read. Smutty but the character growth from enemies to friends, to being together was fun.

A gift from Sammy, it’s taken me forever to get the will to read a hardcover. But I am enjoying it.
I was talking to Jake about this and if she doesn’t SLAM that soldier I will have beef with the plot.

Some things giddy, some things cringe. Otherwise it’s been fun to read.
Enemies to lovers is always a WIN of a plot.

I did not know anything about this book when I started it, so the beginning of her being really depressed and suicidal was not on my bingo card for how it would go.
But it has been really fun, especially the character growth not only in the main character, but those who are additionally in the book.

Finished before book club tomorrow. I don’t love the main character in this (ADHD central) and just the feeling of being naive and such. But still a good read.

Knowing this is historical fiction, but is BASED on true events is terrifying.
