This was different from other Lamb books: there are multiple POVs--interesting. I listened to the audio, and oh my! A who's who of narrator, including Lamb himself (he was incredible).

If it hadn’t been an audio, I don’t think I could have lasted this long, but it was great background noise while I cleaned house, cooked…
But gimme a break, already: the retelling of Rear Window (a favorite) was irritating, but the move into horror/the supernatural was just ridiculous. I feel bad for Sager on this one

Every time I read the newest from the series I think, “The best one yet.” This is no different: Libenson delivers another great novel, and I know that my middle school students will gobble this up and read a second and third time.

I chose this because, “Meh, everything else is checked out, and I like Lenny enough.” What an unexpected surprise and what a life this man has had.

And I have I mentioned: THIS VOICE!

Oh, this voice! 💕

Listening to Lauren Ambrose narrate this story is the way to go. She nails this Eleanor Oliphant-like character perfectly.
