Struggling to finish this one. If I have to hear Max’s fake cursing one more time I might scream.

Avery is getting on my nerves. “I was so distracted by his closeness.” I haven’t counted how often this situation has repeated, but it falls flat when it does. Maybe it’s because inner dialogue comes across as much younger than what she is? The back and forth love interest is just plain annoying.
