And I guess the book is so bad that Goodreads won’t even let me write a review. Maybe if people could write reviews, I would’ve been saved the brain rot.

When an author thinks it’s self-aware to have the character simply admit to being stupid, “there’s something wrong with me,” but what’s wrong with her is ZERO character development and a dense, unrealistic woman. Not even in her desires! She’s just a prop, not a character.

Idk what I expected. I guess I expected it to be fun, even as surface-level entertainment but this book is killing me.

I don’t know what to tell you. I’m making a leap, not one of much faith, to see if there’s a single thing legitimate about a book that arguably only exists because of TikTok. It doesn’t feel great, I’ll tell you that. (No offense, of course, or at least no serious offense intended.) Maybe it’ll be enjoyable illegitimately? Or maybe the unexpected will happen. The TikTokiest book I’ll have read, yet.
