John Galt's rant is brutally tedious.

Behan is an engaging author, but I am antsy to finish this book and get out of prison memoirs. Plus, I no longer harbor the same sympathies for the cause.

This book is fantastic so far. However, considering the work week I've had, somebody's ass better get scalped in the next 20 pages.

After reading about Kesey wearing a buckskin shirt I wanted to read a Western. This will be a first.

I definitely feel like one should read about drug use and beatniks during the summer.

I was really hoping J.C. would go into more details of the madness of Kurtz. Maybe give some vivid details of his exploits, etc. Too vague for a modern audience. In contrast I am really enjoying The Secret Sharer.

There are classes of people that can read minds and prevent crime, so how does one get away with murder? Guess I'll find out.

Definitely not impressed that Milton only spent 5 pages describing the fall of man. The sexism is apparent, in that Eve could have been so easily persuaded to eat the fruit. The adversary's deception was weakly portrayed.

It is strange to think that people in the 1600's would think of angels as needing to have sleep and some form of food, like we mortals...

This wouldn't be so hard to get through if Milton didn't have rambling thoughts and run-on sentences. Poetry...UGH.

After reading Dan Brown, I need something of substance!

I'm embarrassed to say I am reading a Dan Brown novel because he SUCKS at writing, but his topics are just so damned interesting.
