With many of the sections, I can read through. When she dreams or remembers, though, it's so shockingly vivid I can't stop weeping. Is this the kind of world my children should be prepared to live in? It doesn't seem far away, and perhaps has happened thousands of times in other countries.

Have to go wash the tears off my face.

I thought, hesitantly, that this might be good. I asked the library to order it for me. I carried it around for days, hoping for a bit of quiet in which to start. After a few pages, I have to put it down and take a breath and collect myself. It has already caught my heart.

Misread page number last night. Genius.

Gah. Forgot about this for a while and of course there are other people wanting to get it from the library.

I had confused this with Poison Study, which is a pretty good read. Happy to find it's this one!
