This is one of those stories where pieces that seem to be unrelated are laid out, but you just know they’re going to come together deliciously. Excited for how everything weave into the ending.

I’ve had dreams about this two nights in a row because I’m so enthralled in what’s going on.

I like the slow pace so far. It’s letting me sink into the story, but am a little over everyone speaking “at length.”

The woman in this is the trashiest person... I’m all for a woman who owns her needs, but saying things like “is it wet in here or just my vagina” to a stranger feels like too much. Or maybe I’m just that much of a prude.

Book two is cute and ties well with characters in the first. I feel less invested in who book three focuses on, but the stories overall are lighthearted and a nice break from the day, so I’m all in for finishing.

Finished one of three. The first was cute. I definitely see where the novella part comes in.

Stuff got weird. Intriguing weird, but weird all the same...

An interesting development to keep the story moving forward on multiple fronts.

Not sure about all of the potential powers, but still enjoying the read thoroughly.

I just don’t know that I enjoy this series as much as the Transcend duet by this author. Jury’s still out on if I’ll finish.

The book grabbed me from the first page, and, I’ll be honest, definitely had me checking the hallway last night.

I’m really getting into this and torn between devouring it this afternoon and making it last a little bit longer.

The writing is an interesting blend of detail and overview. I’m not sure I’ve read anything with this style. Not bad, but definitely causes pause to digest everything that’s going on. If only I were more patient with finding out what happens.

The various viewpoints coming into play really reminds me of Carrie Summers’ Broken Lands Series in the best way possible. I’m excited to see how everything ties together.

I shouldn’t be up this late reading, but am glad I have this for company since I woke up and can’t fall back to sleep.

It’s always funny when a character says EXACTLY what you were thinking.

Ugh. Work, sleep and adulting keep eating into my reading time!

Some of the dialogue descriptions are bland, but the action is definitely there.
