So far, I don’t want to give up on this book. This year, up to this point, have been boring or not my style of literature. I’m still getting to know the characters but there is an element of mystery that is building up which is keeping me interested. It’s giving a dark academia setting and I haven’t read one in a very long time

This novels seems to be a light read and I feel that's what I need to get out of this reading slump so I jumped right in. So far, I'm actually really enjoying it. Lars, a respected chef, has to take her of his newborn daughter after his wife abruptly leaves them. He loves his daughter so much that he's already thinking of ways to include her in his passion for food and determined to move on with his life.
