My goodness. One heck of a read that kept me guessing until the very end.

Interesting so far. I wonder if this book might be too religious for me.

Excellent so far. Interesting, complex plot with perhaps a few too many characters. Espionage novel with a lot of action. Fast moving.

John Milton, Mark Dawson's protagonist, is a favorite. I have read three of four with only The Driver to finish. Quite good.

Susan Decker is finished with Career of Evil (Cormoran Strike, #3)
Excellent. This is my favorite of the series thus far. Of course, I was hooked after The Cuckoo is Calling and that does not explain why I waited to read The Silkworm. That was so weird and I disliked all the main characters with the exception of Cormoran and Robin. The lot of the other characters were depraved with weird sexual proclivities. It was too graphic for my taste.

Very exciting with an intricate plot. It was difficult to guess which way the story would enfold. If you have loved Scott Horvath before, you will love him even more after reading The Last Patriot.

I have to put this book aside for now because I am not in the right mood for levity. Later, perhaps.

Susan Decker is finished with Black List (Scot Harvath, #11)
Like each Brad Thor novel I have read,
It is well-researched and exciting, from the very first page to the last. And it is my idea of a fun read. It is a book I would recommend to anyone who likes the spy thriller genre.

Another well-written novel from Daniel Silva. He is a master at creating word pictures by using original metaphors and describing both people and events in minute detail. Expect no turgid prose from Silva who creates believable scenarios. He does his research. Recommend.
