I'm halfway through this richly imagined sensuous story set in the world of contemporary classical music in and around the Boston area. Love it so far: a delicious page-turner with great characters and writing, and lots of compelling plot between a fallen but still world famous violin soloist and his prodigiously talented young student who moonlights as the only girl in a heavy metal metal rock band. So original.
