I am riveted.

I'm always hesitant to say "everyone should read this book," but, well, everyone should read this book. It's accessible, engaging, and a quick read. If we better understand our brains, we can use them better. We are both rational and emotional, and we need both aspects to make good decisions. However, both aspects are prone to errors. Luckily we can *think* about how we think and affect our choices.

Maybe not one of the three best horror stories (Stephen King), but a good story.

Does it make me a philistine to complain about the disjointed writing? What's the point of it? Going for Pynchon-esque?

I'm stuck. Need to stop trying to read before sleep. Esp. on the poetry entries. Or maybe I should just admit it leaves me cold.

Brit lit meets magical realism. Wish I was reading this with the Divas.

I cont. to slog on, tho' want to quit. Story & characters are good. But the formatting...Not sure the literature outweighs the gimcrackery.

The mysterious library is very evocative. I'm expecting a vampire at any moment, which is NOT King's genre!
