This story is going all kinds of sideways 🤣

I’m just reading this just to get through it at this point. Kind of repetitive but nothing much really happens.

Shxt’s getting real.

Now there’s manipulation and stalking involved…wow.

This book does a good job of portraying the realities of overt racism in America, which romance novels seem to rarely do.

It’s hard to like any of the main characters honestly. The main love interest’s actions border on sexual predator multiple times early in their relationship. Also the story gets into a lot of details about the job of a flight attendant and airplanes. It’s almost more of a “slice of life” novel than a romance novel. I’m only finishing this book because I’ve already gotten so far.

I’m 60% through and nothing much has really happened. Now we’re focusing a lot of time on the bar closing when I thought this was a romance novel. I think the author needed some direction for this book.

Warm and fluffy book!

2) Way too much dialogue with the roommate right now
