Just finished the next story ‘Beyond the Black River’. Another really enjoyable story, that has a darker theme than some of the other Conan stories.

Just finished reading The Jewels of Gwahlur. A pretty average Conan story for me, nothing that blew me away really, but definitely enjoyable enough to read. Up next, Beyond the Black River.

Just finished the first story in the collection, Red Nails. This has easily become one of my favourite Conan stories I’ve read so far.

It’s clear that the 1980s film took inspiration from this by using the character Valeria.

I’m making my way through this collection as part of Cimmerian September, a reading event started by Michael K Vaughan on YouTube.

Just finished the story Revelations. Enjoyable for the most part - though I lost track of some of the characters at times.
