Started this one today, not convinced at the moment. I have trouble connecting with Lawrence's writing and although I'm in the very beginning, it's just the standard "girl flung into new school and life but no one tells her about anything and she is supposed to understand everything and of course the popular girl hates her" plot. I'm not about that life atm

This is erotica, but it feels so very bleak. The desperation of the chracters and the matter-of-fact way of Anais writing just makes me slightly empty inside. Not to say its not good, its just so different from anything I ever read before

The problem with sci-fi is understanding all the new technologies and worlds. It took me way too long to understand it in this book, but now I think in getting the hang of it and Im really enjoying it!

This is beginning to feel a lot like the expanse series by James SA Corey; a bunch of military douchbags messing with alien stuff that should not be messed with.

Really enjoying it so far and I'm flying through it, the chapters are super short! Not the best writing but very entertaining :)

It just hit me, one generation lives where black people are persecuted and the other one where white people are. It took a long time for me to pickup on that 😑

För och efternamnet utskrivet 5 gånger på samma sida. FEM GÅNGER!!!

Har lite svårt för hur boken använder sig av ordet bög och transa, känner mej väldigt obekväm när de nämns. Blir även lite less på alla stereotypa karaktärer, den "omygod girrrrl" transvestit/sexuella, den lismande bilförsäljare, de slajmiga advokaterna, de hårdnackade poliserna osv

Rekommenderad av svärmor. Än så länge är alla bittra. Stör mej på lite småsaker dock; för och efternamn är utskrivet så himla ofta att det blir löjligt, lite konstigt översatta meningar ibland och missade komman lite överallt :/

I -LOVE- the writing!

I was so sure that this would be a five star read, but Im not connecting at all with this book. I dont know if im just not in the right headspace or if Anna-Maries writing is to flowery for me :/

The prose is exquisite but it feels like it keeps me at a distance. It's like I'm watching, and not experiencing, the story.

Mentions of Rome, Plato and Nietzsche keeps pulling me out of the story
