Really lagging for me, even though I keep picking it back up. There's a good story in there, but the writing kinda stinks. If I saw "Miles'ss" (HUH?) and other such clunkers once, I saw them 30 times. It got to the point where I was bracing mysellf every time I turned a page. Probably going to finish it tonight for bedtime reading.

Alternating between liking it & rolling my eyes. The editing on this thing was atrocious.

Hero is another JJ special - manwhore - but it's a pretty good book so far & not too windy (her other usual MO).

It started out kinda slow & pretty wallpapery, but it really starts getting good in the second half.

Done and I'm done. It was awesome.

And why am I wasting reading time on here? SO loving this book...

Ooh... just got it in my hot little hands & can't wait:P

I won't soon forget this one. Not as good as book 1, but still very good.

Good, but I was looking for something as great as What a Scoundrel Wants, & it isn't. Good story, but is starting to drag in the final 3rd.

Finished it & I wasn't impressed. Hate to say it, but the negative reviews were accurate. It's probably the weakest story in the series.

It's not bad so far but the hero is a little emotionless for my taste.

Just devouring it. A case of a thin premise made into a lot more by some VERY skillful writing.

liked it ok. not as good as her last & better than the 1st. VERY annoying heroine:P

Not getting into it, so I set it aside for a few days. Don't think it's the book's fault though:P

It starts off really slow but picks up a good bit in the second half. I'm not loving it, but it's pretty decent as of right now:P

Forgot to update - this was great. Totally loved it. Going to try to write a review later tonight.

Hoping it will be better than the Kleypas book I just finished:P

Finished & in a word: disgusted.

Going into the final quarter & I'm so upset with it. It's not good, IMO.

Definitely still good:P I've not read a lot of MacLean, but I'm of the opinion that this is one of the best things she ever wrote.

I enjoyed this the 1st time I read it & I want to see if it's better or worse than my memory of it:P

A great book, all except for she puts the one solitary love scene in the last 5 pages of the book - urk:P
