Some interesting principles but started to feel a bit samey. I'll keep it and who knows, might pick it up again in the future but feels less relevant to me today...

I read week 1 and found it full of useful exercises and information. I completed all the exercises which of course was tough as times, though that is kinda the point.

I didn't continue back then but digging it out again now, I have put it back in my to-read pile.

Given up. Couldn't get on with the writing style. Was all a bit twee and slow in my opinion. Don't often say this but much preferred the TV series.

This was amazing! I've left it on my shelf for so long, I think in part because the hardback was so big. But I got through it in no time. Loved the story and hope the TV series follows suit in the next (and hopefully last)...

I have to say I'm struggling with this. The topic is fascinating but I think I'm over YA fiction... Well I am in my 30s... The story is quite slow (even though the horrific incident happens right at the beginning) and I'm not particularly fussed about finishing it. Maybe I will one day but for now I want to read a book I struggle to put down as I'm barely reading these days...

I love it when I'm so into a book that I can't wait to get on the train or in my bed so I can read! My current situation with this book.

I'm finding this really tiresome but the reviews are so good I feel I should continue. but at 50% I still don't care about anyone - least of all Lorna!

So far a bit frustrated by lots of typos but I'm intrigued by the story so am going to keep at it...

This was such a moving story which i loved. It's such a horrific subject and whilst it had me in tears of anguish at times, it was, in a strange way, uplifting too to see the bonds of family and friendship and the lengths that the boys would go to to protect the girl they love in Nazi Germany. Whilst the story is fictional, the author's note also explains the links between characters and members of his family.
