Oh my goodness!!! This novel will definitely be one of my top 2026 reads!! I found myself laughing out loud and shaking my head! The audio book is fantastic and highly recommend. Now my only wish is that it will become a movie. The characters were absolutely fun to listen too. The authors note at the end is worth a listen. Learned some new facts I had no clue about women and children back then.

A classic Grisham novel with court room shenanigans and a little mystery all handled together. The novel didn’t pick up about midway so if you’re deciding whether to stick with it, you’ll want to wait til halfway.
