I burned the first 54 pages on a camping trip as kindling.

Ugh. Seriously, p. 8 and I'm about to give up. In a book that I hoped to provide, well, science about traffic, he starts out repeating answers he got about traffic from asking on an internet forum. It really looks bleak right now that he's going to turn this ship around....

I know 71 isn't too far into 600 pages, but it's been great so far.

Well, this is great, a delightful surprise - and flows much better than Dark and Bloody River!

Wow...I'm at a loss of words. 4 or 5 stars for certain.

Wow....this is the McPhee I'm use to. I'm in the 2nd story of 5 (not yet to the one I'm reading this book for) and it's great!
