Time for a re-read of one of my favs! I wish she had written the sequel 😭

1st story: VERY short. It was cute, but we literally just got a confession of feelings, a kiss, and that was it. What the heck.

Thought I'd try this series again now that I'm a woke adult 🤣 So far, no bad except...why are the sentences so short? Barely a conjunction in sight, and I never realized how much that mattered until right this second omg...

This book is so introspective - so much goes on in the characters heads, a lot of inner monologue. And then big things happen but we only experience it through the other person's perspective. I'm not sure I love this way of telling a story.

We hit a wall here...somehow I am sick of all the smut in this one 😭 we lost any hint at a plot

I LIKE it - the premise is so interesting. But it's slooooow. I'm having a hard time picking it back up.

How is Nate's birth mom not in jail?!? That doesn't even make sense 😡

Doing my latest reread via the dramatized audiobooks. Let's see how this goes...

It's crazy how much is packed into this book. They never know a moment's peace!

The beginning always makes me a little angry. I get why Griffin was upset about what Cat kept from him, but I don't know how else she was supposed to respond to his actions & words. I hate that SHE apologized after he thought she ran away. He deserved the anguish he felt, IMO. And he's so obsessed with stifling her in the name of protection. I'm over that trope. Still love ya boo, but ugh.

This is the second time I've tried to read this book. It is so intriguing...but also exhausting! Being in Dizzy's head makes me need a nap. I'm not sure I can finish this 😭

This is such a comfort read for me. And we get a little Christmas towards the end so it works ☺️

I'm not sure what's even happened in this book except for the back and forth between Park and Gift. It's exhausting.

The entire book thus far has been about how Gift wants Park, and Park wants Gift...but Park won't let himself have Gift for *reasons*. Omg. Get on with it.

Ughhhhh I remember why I took a break and never picked up the series again after reading this book. The draaaaaaaama. It's constant back and forth, and they never stop going over the same thing over and over. I just can't.
