I really liked the 1st story by Angela Knight. Complex world building & characters + hot sex scenes.

This is a fun read but... lord is the protagonist stupid!

The characters are flat, their feelings for each other seem... fake? They claim to love each other but we don't know why, and even though this is the 3rd of a series this should be retold.

What a piece of cr*p! I was going to say "I'm glad this book was't published" but apparently I was mistaking it for another piece of cr*p that, thankfully, did not make the cut.

So it's Cornwall not America, feel like facepalming.

I don't know what the grammatical mistakes are supposed to convey but they're making the book very hard to read to a non-native speaker.

The narration in this book is really choppy! First we're thrown into the distant past, then the present, then back a few years ago, not mentioning a terrible, one-line flashback to the murder of the heroin's mother whose only purpose is to set the heroin as a [i] tortured soul with a troubled past[/i].

A quarter of the way in and no plot so far...

This is the kind of story I would love if the narrator wasn't so slapeable. Yes, I want to slap them. You see, the protagonist is better than everyone else, because they're all stupid, and he's smart. Which would suck if it was said once or twice, but it's repeated several times in each chapter.

What am I reading? Why am I reading it? The hero owns a tiger?? WTF?

Ok, so the tiger is a person, which explains why they thinks, but not why they refers to Julien as their "master".

Is it supposed to be 2nd degree humour? The male characters are horrid and so is the writing.

I'm really bothered by the use of the word "virtual". It didn't exist back then. I know, Modern English didn't exist back then, but still, it wouldn't have been so hard to pick a word that sounds more medieval, would it?

I guess the dialogs are, you know, kind of annoying with, you know, all the "well" and "I guess" and "you know".

I started this book prejudiced, I must say so far it's better than I expected.

Those serums are too easy. Science doesn't work like that.
